HR Business Partner - onboarding (Sacramento, CA)

Nova Summit Early Learning is an early-learning provider in Sacramento. We are hiring an HR Business Partner to take on onboarding. Children come first and so does looking after the teachers. What you will do • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on classroom supplies. What we are looking for • Discreet, fair and direct. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Three or more years in HR. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with classroom supplies. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Sacramento. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
