HR Business Partner - onboarding (Sacramento, CA)

Cedar Quarry Energy is an energy provider in Sacramento focused on reliable service and fair billing, and we need an HR Business Partner to lead our onboarding. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on outage response. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. What we are looking for • Discreet, fair and direct. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Three or more years in HR. Nice to have • Experience with outage response. • SHRM or HRCI certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Sacramento. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
