HR Business Partner - onboarding (Rochester, NY)

Ironwood Ashton Legal Group provides legal services in Rochester across employment, housing and small-business law. We are hiring an HR Business Partner to take on onboarding. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Rochester. What you will do • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on court deadlines. What we are looking for • Discreet, fair and direct. • Three or more years in HR. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with court deadlines. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Rochester. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
