HR Business Partner - onboarding (Richmond, VA)

Stonegate Beacon Construction is a Richmond contractor with project managers, trades and support staff, and we need an HR Business Partner to lead our onboarding. You would join a small organisation of about 25 people based in Richmond. What you will do • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on project schedules. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. What we are looking for • Discreet, fair and direct. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Three or more years in HR. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with project schedules. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Richmond, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
