HR Business Partner - onboarding (Reno, NV)

Nova Mill Transit Planning is looking for an HR Business Partner. The job centres on onboarding for fare systems, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. We like people who ride the bus and notice when things do not work. What you will do • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on fare systems. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. What we are looking for • Discreet, fair and direct. • Three or more years in HR. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. Nice to have • Experience with fare systems. • SHRM or HRCI certification. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Reno. • We reply to every applicant.
