HR Business Partner - onboarding (Reno, NV)

Fernwood North Early Learning operates neighbourhood childcare around Reno. We are hiring an HR Business Partner to take on onboarding. Low staff turnover is a goal we take seriously. What you will do • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on tuition and subsidies. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. What we are looking for • Discreet, fair and direct. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Three or more years in HR. Nice to have • Experience with tuition and subsidies. • SHRM or HRCI certification. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Reno. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
