HR Business Partner - onboarding (remote)

Harborlight Ember Staffing is a Charleston staffing firm for warehouse, office and healthcare roles, and we need an HR Business Partner to lead our onboarding. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on onboarding. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. What we are looking for • Discreet, fair and direct. • Three or more years in HR. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with onboarding. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, spread across three days. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Charleston. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
