HR Business Partner - onboarding (remote)

Fernwood Thistle Learning Group is an education provider in Fresno serving students and families, and we need an HR Business Partner to lead our onboarding. You would join a small organisation of about 39 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on family communication. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. What we are looking for • Three or more years in HR. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Discreet, fair and direct. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with family communication. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, afternoons. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Fresno. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
