HR Business Partner - onboarding (remote)

Foxglove Harbor Transit Planning plans bus and rail service for cities around Chicago. We are hiring an HR Business Partner to take on onboarding. You would join a small organisation of about 13 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on survey data. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. What we are looking for • Discreet, fair and direct. • Three or more years in HR. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. Nice to have • Experience with survey data. • SHRM or HRCI certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, with flexible days. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Chicago. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
