HR Business Partner - onboarding (remote)

Stonegate Wilder Construction delivers building projects for owners across the Hartford region, and we need an HR Business Partner to lead our onboarding. Good people move up quickly. What you will do • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on materials orders. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. What we are looking for • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Three or more years in HR. • Discreet, fair and direct. Nice to have • Experience with materials orders. • SHRM or HRCI certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, afternoons. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Hartford. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
