HR Business Partner - onboarding (remote)

We are growing our team at Fernwood Ember Press and adding an HR Business Partner whose main responsibility will be onboarding. Many of us have been here for ten years or more. What you will do • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on print quotes. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. What we are looking for • Discreet, fair and direct. • Three or more years in HR. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with print quotes. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Columbus. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
