HR Business Partner - onboarding (remote)

Harborlight Rook Markets operates grocery and general-merchandise stores around Charlotte. We are hiring an HR Business Partner to take on onboarding. We are friendly and busy, especially on weekends. What you will do • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on promotions. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. What we are looking for • Three or more years in HR. • Discreet, fair and direct. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. Nice to have • Experience with promotions. • SHRM or HRCI certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, spread across three days. • Remote-friendly, with a monthly team day in Charlotte. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
