HR Business Partner - onboarding (remote)

Bright Cross Civic Services Group supports public agencies in Chicago with budgeting, records and programmes. We are hiring an HR Business Partner to take on onboarding. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on public records. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. What we are looking for • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Three or more years in HR. • Discreet, fair and direct. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with public records. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, afternoons. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Chicago. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
