HR Business Partner - onboarding (remote)

Fernwood Vista Community Partners is a nonprofit in Richmond supporting families with food, housing and job help, and we need an HR Business Partner to lead our onboarding. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on benefits enrolment. What we are looking for • Discreet, fair and direct. • Three or more years in HR. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with benefits enrolment. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, mornings. • Remote-friendly, with a monthly team day in Richmond. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
