HR Business Partner - onboarding (remote)

Ironwood Ember Water Authority is a public water utility serving the Jacksonville area. We are hiring an HR Business Partner to take on onboarding. Our work is invisible when it goes well, and we are proud of that. What you will do • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on treatment plant data. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. What we are looking for • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Discreet, fair and direct. • Three or more years in HR. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with treatment plant data. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, with flexible days. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Jacksonville. • We reply to every applicant.
