HR Business Partner - onboarding (remote)

Ironwood Bridge Freight is a Spokane logistics company with trucks, warehouses and dispatch. We are hiring an HR Business Partner to take on onboarding. You would join a small organisation of about 106 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on claims. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. What we are looking for • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Discreet, fair and direct. • Three or more years in HR. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with claims. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, mornings. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Spokane. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
