HR Business Partner - onboarding (remote)

Cedar Summit Early Learning Group is an early-learning provider in Oakland, and we need an HR Business Partner to lead our onboarding. Low staff turnover is a goal we take seriously. What you will do • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on meal programmes. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. What we are looking for • Three or more years in HR. • Discreet, fair and direct. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with meal programmes. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Oakland. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
