HR Business Partner - onboarding (remote)

Summit Birch Civic Services is looking for an HR Business Partner. The job centres on onboarding for case files, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 80 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on case files. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. What we are looking for • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Discreet, fair and direct. • Three or more years in HR. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with case files. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, mornings. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in San Jose. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
