HR Business Partner - onboarding (remote)

Summit Iron Insurance is looking for an HR Business Partner. The job centres on onboarding for customer complaints, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of about 500 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on customer complaints. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. What we are looking for • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Discreet, fair and direct. • Three or more years in HR. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with customer complaints. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, afternoons. • Remote-friendly, with a monthly team day in Houston. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
