HR Business Partner - onboarding (remote)

Northwind Ember Early Learning runs childcare centres in New Orleans caring for infants, toddlers and preschoolers, and we need an HR Business Partner to lead our onboarding. Low staff turnover is a goal we take seriously. What you will do • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on licensing records. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. What we are looking for • Three or more years in HR. • Discreet, fair and direct. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. Nice to have • Experience with licensing records. • SHRM or HRCI certification. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in New Orleans. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
