HR Business Partner - onboarding (remote)

Ironwood Thistle Learning Group is an education provider in Houston serving students and families. We are hiring an HR Business Partner to take on onboarding. Families are partners. What you will do • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on attendance records. What we are looking for • Three or more years in HR. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Discreet, fair and direct. Nice to have • Experience with attendance records. • SHRM or HRCI certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, afternoons. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Houston. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
