HR Business Partner - onboarding (remote)

Fernwood Meridian Inspection Services Partners is looking for an HR Business Partner. The job centres on onboarding for field inspections, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Training and certification are paid for. What you will do • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on field inspections. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. What we are looking for • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Three or more years in HR. • Discreet, fair and direct. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with field inspections. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Pittsburgh. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
