HR Business Partner - onboarding (remote)

Northwind Orchard Freight Group coordinates shipments and warehousing around Richmond. We are hiring an HR Business Partner to take on onboarding. You would join a small organisation of about 26 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on carrier rates. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. What we are looking for • Three or more years in HR. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Discreet, fair and direct. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with carrier rates. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, afternoons. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Richmond. • We reply to every applicant.
