HR Business Partner - onboarding (remote)

Amberfield Willow Construction builds commercial and industrial projects around Buffalo, and we need an HR Business Partner to lead our onboarding. We build things that last and we are honest about schedules. What you will do • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on materials orders. What we are looking for • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Discreet, fair and direct. • Three or more years in HR. Nice to have • Experience with materials orders. • SHRM or HRCI certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, spread across three days. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Buffalo. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
