HR Business Partner - onboarding (remote)

Cedar Willow Insurance provides coverage to households and businesses around Sacramento. We are hiring an HR Business Partner to take on onboarding. Claims teams work together and share what they learn. What you will do • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on claims. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. What we are looking for • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Three or more years in HR. • Discreet, fair and direct. Nice to have • Experience with claims. • SHRM or HRCI certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, with flexible days. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Sacramento. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
