HR Business Partner - onboarding (remote)

Northwind Union Banking Services provides everyday banking and small-business lending around Providence. We are hiring an HR Business Partner to take on onboarding. We promote from within and train well. What you will do • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on loan files. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. What we are looking for • Three or more years in HR. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Discreet, fair and direct. Nice to have • Experience with loan files. • SHRM or HRCI certification. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • Remote-friendly, with a monthly team day in Providence. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
