HR Business Partner - onboarding (remote)

We are growing our team at Ironwood Sable Staffing and adding an HR Business Partner whose main responsibility will be onboarding. You would join a large organisation of about 830 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on onboarding. What we are looking for • Discreet, fair and direct. • Three or more years in HR. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with onboarding. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, afternoons. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Sacramento. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
