HR Business Partner - onboarding (remote)

Highbridge Beacon Early Learning runs childcare centres in Chicago caring for infants, toddlers and preschoolers. We are hiring an HR Business Partner to take on onboarding. Children come first and so does looking after the teachers. What you will do • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on tuition and subsidies. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. What we are looking for • Discreet, fair and direct. • Three or more years in HR. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with tuition and subsidies. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Chicago. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
