HR Business Partner - onboarding (remote)

Westbrook Ivory Transit Planning is a transit-planning firm in Providence working with agencies and riders. We are hiring an HR Business Partner to take on onboarding. You would join a large organisation of about 356 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on survey data. What we are looking for • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Discreet, fair and direct. • Three or more years in HR. Nice to have • Experience with survey data. • SHRM or HRCI certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, afternoons. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Providence. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
