HR Business Partner - onboarding (remote)

Westbrook Thistle Construction is a Baltimore contractor with project managers, trades and support staff. We are hiring an HR Business Partner to take on onboarding. You would join a small organisation of about 139 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on materials orders. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. What we are looking for • Discreet, fair and direct. • Three or more years in HR. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. Nice to have • Experience with materials orders. • SHRM or HRCI certification. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Baltimore. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
