HR Business Partner - onboarding (remote)

We are growing our team at Nova River Water Authority and adding an HR Business Partner whose main responsibility will be onboarding. Our work is invisible when it goes well, and we are proud of that. What you will do • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on water quality. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. What we are looking for • Three or more years in HR. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Discreet, fair and direct. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with water quality. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Milwaukee. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
