HR Business Partner - onboarding (remote)

Cedar Beacon Housing provides affordable homes and support services around Omaha. We are hiring an HR Business Partner to take on onboarding. You would join a small organisation of about 199 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on rent assistance. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. What we are looking for • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Discreet, fair and direct. • Three or more years in HR. Nice to have • Experience with rent assistance. • SHRM or HRCI certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, afternoons. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Omaha. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
