HR Business Partner - onboarding (remote)

Rivermark Fern Transit Planning is a transit-planning firm in Indianapolis working with agencies and riders. We are hiring an HR Business Partner to take on onboarding. We value plain explanations. What you will do • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on survey data. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. What we are looking for • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Three or more years in HR. • Discreet, fair and direct. Nice to have • Experience with survey data. • SHRM or HRCI certification. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Indianapolis. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
