HR Business Partner - onboarding (remote)

Harborlight Juniper Freight coordinates shipments and warehousing around Reno, and we need an HR Business Partner to lead our onboarding. On-time is the promise and we work hard to keep it. What you will do • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on claims. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. What we are looking for • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Three or more years in HR. • Discreet, fair and direct. Nice to have • Experience with claims. • SHRM or HRCI certification. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • Remote-friendly, with a monthly team day in Reno. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
