HR Business Partner - onboarding (remote)

Harborlight Ember Press prints books, catalogues and packaging from its Spokane plant, and we need an HR Business Partner to lead our onboarding. We like people who notice details. What you will do • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on press runs. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. What we are looking for • Three or more years in HR. • Discreet, fair and direct. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. Nice to have • Experience with press runs. • SHRM or HRCI certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, with flexible days. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Spokane. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
