HR Business Partner - onboarding (remote)

Nova Iron Water Authority supplies drinking water and treats wastewater for Houston and nearby communities. We are hiring an HR Business Partner to take on onboarding. Our work is invisible when it goes well, and we are proud of that. What you will do • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on treatment plant data. What we are looking for • Discreet, fair and direct. • Three or more years in HR. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. Nice to have • Experience with treatment plant data. • SHRM or HRCI certification. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Houston. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
