HR Business Partner - onboarding (remote)

Cedar Iron Insurance sells home, auto and small-business insurance in Louisville. We are hiring an HR Business Partner to take on onboarding. Claims teams work together and share what they learn. What you will do • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on catastrophe response. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. What we are looking for • Discreet, fair and direct. • Three or more years in HR. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with catastrophe response. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Louisville. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
