HR Business Partner - onboarding (remote)

Ironwood Quarry Freight moves freight for manufacturers and retailers out of Charleston, and we need an HR Business Partner to lead our onboarding. We reward reliability. What you will do • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on dock schedules. What we are looking for • Discreet, fair and direct. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Three or more years in HR. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with dock schedules. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Charleston. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
