HR Business Partner - onboarding (remote)

We are growing our team at Amberfield Wilder Auto Group and adding an HR Business Partner whose main responsibility will be onboarding. Customers come back because we explain what they need and what they do not. What you will do • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on supplier deliveries. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. What we are looking for • Discreet, fair and direct. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Three or more years in HR. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with supplier deliveries. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, afternoons. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in San Jose. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
