HR Business Partner - onboarding (remote)

We are growing our team at Harborlight Summit Insurance and adding an HR Business Partner whose main responsibility will be onboarding. You would join a large organisation of about 214 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on catastrophe response. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. What we are looking for • Three or more years in HR. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Discreet, fair and direct. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with catastrophe response. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • Remote-friendly, with a monthly team day in Minneapolis. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
