HR Business Partner - onboarding (remote)

Summit Clear Arts Center is an arts centre in Spokane with a full calendar of events. We are hiring an HR Business Partner to take on onboarding. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on volunteer programmes. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. What we are looking for • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Three or more years in HR. • Discreet, fair and direct. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with volunteer programmes. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, mornings. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Spokane. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
