HR Business Partner - onboarding (remote)

We are growing our team at Northwind Meridian Farms and adding an HR Business Partner whose main responsibility will be onboarding. Seasons are busy and the rest of the year is for planning. What you will do • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on harvest schedules. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. What we are looking for • Three or more years in HR. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Discreet, fair and direct. Nice to have • Experience with harvest schedules. • SHRM or HRCI certification. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Providence. • We reply to every applicant.
