HR Business Partner - onboarding (remote)

Greenridge Maple Press prints books, catalogues and packaging from its Oakland plant. We are hiring an HR Business Partner to take on onboarding. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on customer orders. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. What we are looking for • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Discreet, fair and direct. • Three or more years in HR. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with customer orders. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, mornings. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Oakland. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
