HR Business Partner - onboarding (remote)

Harborlight Corner Water Authority supplies drinking water and treats wastewater for Albuquerque and nearby communities, and we need an HR Business Partner to lead our onboarding. Crews and office staff work closely together. What you will do • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on capital projects. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. What we are looking for • Discreet, fair and direct. • Three or more years in HR. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. Nice to have • Experience with capital projects. • SHRM or HRCI certification. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • Remote-friendly, with a monthly team day in Albuquerque. • We reply to every applicant.
