HR Business Partner - onboarding (remote)

Northwind Ember Early Learning Partners is an early-learning provider in Virginia Beach, and we need an HR Business Partner to lead our onboarding. We celebrate small wins and steady routines. What you will do • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on classroom supplies. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. What we are looking for • Discreet, fair and direct. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Three or more years in HR. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with classroom supplies. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, afternoons. • Remote-friendly, with a monthly team day in Virginia Beach. • We reply to every applicant.
