HR Business Partner - onboarding (remote)

Stonegate Iron Construction is a Hartford contractor with project managers, trades and support staff. We are hiring an HR Business Partner to take on onboarding. We build things that last and we are honest about schedules. What you will do • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on permits. What we are looking for • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Three or more years in HR. • Discreet, fair and direct. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with permits. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, with flexible days. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Hartford. • We reply to every applicant.
