HR Business Partner - onboarding (remote)

Amberfield Harbor Civic Services provides shared administrative services to local governments around Phoenix. We are hiring an HR Business Partner to take on onboarding. You would join a small organisation of about 36 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on permits. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. What we are looking for • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Three or more years in HR. • Discreet, fair and direct. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with permits. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, with flexible days. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Phoenix. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
