HR Business Partner - onboarding (remote)

Redstone Fern Transit Planning plans bus and rail service for cities around Virginia Beach. We are hiring an HR Business Partner to take on onboarding. Work is collaborative and map-heavy. What you will do • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on fare systems. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. What we are looking for • Discreet, fair and direct. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Three or more years in HR. Nice to have • Experience with fare systems. • SHRM or HRCI certification. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Virginia Beach. • We reply to every applicant.
