HR Business Partner - onboarding (remote)

Fernwood Meridian Foods Group makes sauces, snacks and prepared meals in Birmingham, and we need an HR Business Partner to lead our onboarding. We like people who take pride in what they make. What you will do • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on ingredient orders. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. What we are looking for • Discreet, fair and direct. • Three or more years in HR. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with ingredient orders. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Birmingham. • We reply to every applicant.
