HR Business Partner - onboarding (remote)

Harborlight Rowan Banking Services is a regional lender in Honolulu with branches and a growing mobile service, and we need an HR Business Partner to lead our onboarding. You would join a small organisation of about 56 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on card disputes. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. What we are looking for • Discreet, fair and direct. • Three or more years in HR. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with card disputes. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Honolulu. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
